We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a leading contractor delivering refurbishment works on a long-term social housing framework contract. With a secure pipeline of work and a strong reputation within the sector, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking for stability and career progression.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of refurbishment projects within occupied residential properties, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You will oversee site teams and subcontractors while acting as the key point of contact for clients, residents, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Managing all day-to-day site activities Coordinating subcontractors and direct labour Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures Conducting site inspections, audits, and quality checks Managing project programmes and reporting progress to senior management Maintaining accurate site records and documentation Building positive relationships with residents, client representatives, and stakeholders Managing defects and ensuring excellent project delivery Leading, mentoring, and developing site teams Delivering refurbishment works within occupied environments with minimal disruption to residents
Requirements
Essential
Previous experience as a Site Manager delivering refurbishment projects Experience working within occupied residential properties Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations and site compliance Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors SMSTS CSCS Card First Aid at Work Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
Social housing or planned maintenance experience Experience working on long-term framework contracts MCIOB (or working towards) Additional Health & Safety qualifications
