Night Site Manager – Carlisle

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to cover a series of night shifts on a project in Carlisle, overseeing trenching works on site.
Location: Carlisle
Hours: 7:00pm – 7:00am
Shift: Night work

12/10/2026 – 16/10/2026DutiesThe Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing the trenching works throughout the night shift, including:

Managing and coordinating site operatives and subcontractors
Overseeing trenching and associated groundworks
Ensuring works are completed safely and to programme
Carrying out site inductions and toolbox talks where required
Monitoring health & safety standards throughout the shift
Maintaining site records and reporting progress
Liaising with the project team regarding progress and any issues
Ensuring the site is left safe and secure at the end of each shiftRequirements
Previous Site Manager experience
Strong groundworks/civils and trenching experience
SMSTS
First Aid
CSCS
Good knowledge of health & safety procedures
Comfortable managing works independently during night shiftsThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager looking for night-shift work across the above dates
