Freelance Site Manager - Passive Fire Protection & Fire Doors

Location: South London & Surrounding Areas
Rate: £190-£210 per day
Contract: Freelance

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee multiple passive fire protection and fire door projects across South London and the surrounding areas.

This role would suit someone from a carpentry, fire doors, passive fire protection, or fit-out background who is confident managing site operations, subcontractors, quality standards, and health & safety across several live projects.

Key Responsibilities

Managing multiple fire door and passive fire protection projects simultaneously.
Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners.
Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.
Carrying out site inspections, quality checks, and progress reporting.
Liaising with clients, residents, and project stakeholders.
Managing site documentation and compliance requirements.
Driving programme performance and resolving site issues efficiently.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Site Manager within construction, fit-out, passive fire protection, or fire doors.
Carpentry or fire-stopping background highly desirable.
Strong understanding of site health & safety and quality management.
Ability to work across multiple sites and manage competing priorities.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
Willingness to travel regularly throughout South London and surrounding areas.
