Site Manager – Scattered Homes Project (Temp to Perm)

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a busy residential construction project in Hatfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking for a temp-to-perm position with a well-established contractor.

The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of a scattered homes residential development, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Previous experience managing pitched roof installations is essential.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage day-to-day site operations across scattered residential units.

* Oversee pitched roof construction and ensure works are completed to specification.

* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour.

* Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.

* Monitor programme progress and maintain project schedules.

* Carry out quality inspections and resolve site issues promptly.

* Maintain accurate site records and communicate effectively with the project team.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential housing developments.

* Strong knowledge and hands-on experience managing pitched roof works.

* Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certificates.

* Excellent organisational and communication skills.

* Ability to manage multiple work areas across a scattered homes development.

* Full UK driving licence preferred.
