You will take responsibility of retrofit works on tenanted housing stock, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, to programme and to the required quality standards.

Our client is one of the largest Tier 1 contractors in the UK with a heavy presence across the social housing sector, they deliver high quality repairs, maintenance, refurbishment and decarbonisation programmes, working in partnership with housing associations, local authorities and communities across the UK.
Description
Manage the day to day delivery of social housing retrofit and decarbonisation works. Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors and specialist trades. Ensure all works are delivered safely and in accordance with policies, procedures and relevant legislation. Manage programmes, productivity and site resources to achieve project targets. Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure works meet specification and quality requirements. Coordinate works across occupied properties while minimising disruption to residents. Build positive relationships with residents, housing associations, local authorities, clients and other stakeholders. Monitor progress, identify potential issues and implement effective solutions. Carry out regular site inspections, quality checks and health & safety audits.
Profile
Proven experience managing construction or refurbishment projects on site. Experience working within social housing maintenance. Knowledge of retrofit and/or decarbonisation measures such as insulation, windows and doors, heating systems, ventilation, renewable technologies and associated building works. Strong understanding of health & safety, quality and environmental requirements. Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades. A proactive approach to problem solving and delivering against programmes. Relevant construction qualifications, such as SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid. Retrofit experience and relevant qualifications such as PAS 2035/2030 would be advantageous.
