Site Manager/Working Foreman

Overview

Careermakers are currently seeking a Site manager/Working Foreman to oversee works on various sites across the north west area. the ideal candidate will be able to oversee various teams of different trades and labourers as well as manage and oversee site logistics ensuring materials are ordered and the job is running to the given time frame.

Duties

* Oversee daily site operations, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules

* Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth workflow

* Utilise program softwares for project scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking

* Employ Program software for site design review, topographical analysis, and layout planning

* Monitor health and safety compliance across the site, implementing necessary measures

* Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery

* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained

* Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to stakeholders effectively

* Lead and motivate site teams, fostering a collaborative working environment

* Resolve any issues or delays promptly to minimise impact on project timelines

Qualifications

* Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role within the construction sectors

* Proficiency in project management software

* Strong knowledge of design software is highly desirable

* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

* Demonstrated ability in time management to meet strict deadlines

* Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management are preferred

* Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills

* Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
