Site Operations Accountant – Fraserburgh – Up to £55,000

As an experienced Operations or Management Accountant, you’ll be the financial heartbeat of the site—leading a small, capable finance team and working closely with site leadership to deliver insights that genuinely shape our commercial and operational success.

Site Operations Accountant responsibilities will include:

• Deliver accurate, real-time insight on site performance, from yields to labour efficiencies.
• Lead the development of financial reporting tools that support better, faster decision-making.
• Act as the key finance lead on cross-functional projects—validating investments and championing cost-saving initiatives.
• Prepare detailed, board-level capital expenditure proposals and support R&D claims.
• Improve how the business connects financial goals with operational execution—across all levels of the site.
• Ensure robust controls, clean reporting cycles, and full transparency across finance and operations.
• Trusted partner of Plant Director and plant leadership team
• Lead weekly and monthly reporting for the site, including the preparation of and providing insight into the monthly Plant Continuous Improvement

Required Skills & Experience:

• Qualified or later stages part qualified ACCA/CIMA
• You will need to have worked ideally in FMCG or manufacturing with high volume
• Ability to explain financial information to non-finance managers in a way they understand
• IT literate including ERP systems and strong experience on Excel (pivots, lookups)
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Track record of delivery and a continuous improvement mentality
