🚀 The Job Mission

This role drives the successful engineering of MEH piping scope at HPC. You will lead site-based engineering from delivery through to commissioning. Expect to play a key role integrating the site works within the broader piping engineering programme.

⚡️ Manage engineering for BNI and/or BOP piping installation scope (Contract HK8010)

⚡️ Create and update technical specs, LDRC and Surveillance Plans

⚡️ Resolve construction queries, Open Points, and Exemption Requests

⚡️ Review and coordinate contractor deliverables and installation specs

⚡️ Support the update of LADs and Works Information documents

⚡️ Handle technical topics and assist in BFPI/CMB/PCR preparations

⚡️ Provide real-time technical input to maintain installation continuity

⚡️ Align construction with post-construction needs (e.g., hydrotest loops, test packs)

🛠 Essential Skills and Qualifications

🛠 Proven engineering experience in construction/installation environments

🛠 Deep technical rigour with strong attention to engineering standards

🛠 Strong leadership to empower site-based engineering teams

🛠 Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders

🛠 Understanding of contracts and commercial interfaces

🛠 Autonomous decision-maker with clear awareness of escalation points

🛠 Familiarity with fast-paced, schedule-critical delivery contexts

✔️ Desired Skills and Qualifications

✔️ Degree in a relevant engineering discipline

✔️ Chartered Engineer status or working towards

✔️ Experience with PWR systems and operations

✔️ Working knowledge of French advantageous

✔️ Understanding of CDM regulations
