Site Security Controller

Act as the security lead for all Cheltenham‑based Northrop Grumman UK sites, overseeing physical and information security standards. Build strong relationships with customer and partner Security Advisors, ensuring all accreditation requirements are understood, maintained, and proactively updated. Lead communication and engagement on security matters across Operations, Facilities, H&S, project teams, and business units. Provide expert security advice to stakeholders and teams, influencing decision-making and supporting secure business operations. Manage the Risk Management and Accreditation registers for the Cheltenham estate. Maintain and evolve Security Operating Procedures, delivering insights and recommendations to leadership. Act as the on-site lead for Business Continuity and Business Resilience activities. Mentor colleagues on security best practice, championing a proactive and positive security culture. Significant experience in physical and information security within Defence or HM Government environments. Strong understanding of NPSA principles, accreditation guidelines, and GovS 007. Experience working with x‑Government partners and representing organisational security interests to HMG bodies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences. Experience conducting security investigations and producing detailed reports. Proven ability to identify, assess, and treat risks. Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
