We’re currently recruiting for a skilled Site Services Electrician to join a well-established manufacturing facility in Widnes. This is a key role supporting the electrical maintenance of the site, working on a rotating weekly shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responding to reactive breakdowns to minimise downtime

• Electrical fault finding and repairs on production machinery

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on plant equipment

• Providing on-shift electrical support to the engineering team

• General site maintenance including lighting checks, small installations, and electrical repairs

• Monitoring and managing electrical spare parts inventory

About You:

• Time-served electrical maintenance professional

• Background in a manufacturing or production environment

• Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation

• Confident with fault finding on automated systems including PLC logic (ideally Siemens), inverters, and three-phase motors

What’s on Offer:

• £43,000-£45,000 salary

• 22 days holiday, increasing to 27 with service, plus bank holidays

• 40-hour working week with potential overtime up to 48 hours

Please note: This is a physically active role that involves manual handling, working at height, and navigating steps and ladders. PPE will be provided and must be worn as required.
