Site Services & Compliance Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be partnering with a leading food manufacturing business based in Rotherham to recruit a Site Services & Compliance Engineer.

This is a key role responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance of all site services within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining critical equipment, managing contractors, and overseeing compliance and engineering stores activity.

• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing of machinery, utilities, and site infrastructure
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety and food industry compliance standards
• Manage external contractors and service providers, ensuring effective, timely, and value-driven support
• Maintain accurate documentation including work orders, compliance logs, and maintenance records
• Own the engineering stores function, including parts ordering and inventory control (supported by a direct report: Stores Coordinator)
• Identify and deliver improvements in maintenance efficiency and reliability

• Previous experience in site services, compliance, or facilities maintenance, ideally within the food manufacturing sector.
• A strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong IT and systems skills, including the use of maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• A proactive, self-driven approach with high attention to detail and a commitment to operational excellence.

The Site Services & Compliance Engineer role may involve occasional work in noisy or high-temperature areas, typical of a food production facility. On-call availability and occasional weekend or evening support may be required.
