Polytec are looking for an experienced Site Services Manager to oversee the maintenance, compliance and smooth operation of a busy manufacturing site for our client based near Saffron Walden .
This hands-on role is responsible for managing site facilities, utilities, and services, ensuring the site operates safely and efficiently. You will lead a small team, coordinate contractors, oversee preventative and reactive maintenance, manage improvement projects and take ownership of the Site Services budget and purchasing.

Responsibilities

- Manage site facilities, utilities and building services
- Lead preventative and reactive maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, fire and building regulations
- Coordinate contractors and site improvement projects
- Manage the Site Services budget and purchasing
- Maintain site records and lead a small maintenance team

Requirements

- Electrical qualifications with broad maintenance and installation experience
- Previous experience managing site services or facilities within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Knowledge of building services, including HVAC, heating, water treatment, compressed air, fire safety and security systems
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach
