Site Supervisor

A Secondary School in Bolton is seeking aproactive and reliable Site Supervisor to ensure their school premisesare safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained for pupils, staff, and visitors.This is a hands-on role requiring a strong sense of responsibility, practicalskills, and a commitment to high standards.

Location: Bolton, BL3
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Permanent, full year
Salary: £24,054 - £28,371 DOE

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Overseesite security, including opening/locking up, alarm systems, and CCTV checks.
• Carryout general maintenance, repairs, and DIY tasks across the school site.
• Monitorand manage contractors, cleaning staff, and maintenance schedules.
• Ensurecompliance with health & safety, fire safety, and statutory buildingregulations.
• Maintainheating, lighting, and water systems; conduct regular checks and record usage.
• Supportschool events by setting up rooms and managing site logistics.
• Maintaincleanliness of external areas and respond to emergency cleaning needs.
• Managestock of janitorial supplies and ensure toilets and facilities are wellmaintained.
• Conductregular checks for Legionella, asbestos, and PAT testing.
• Act askeyholder and respond to out-of-hours emergencies.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Experiencein site or facilities management (preferably in a school setting).
• Strongpractical skills in maintenance, repairs, and health & safety.
• Abilityto work independently and manage a varied workload.
• Goodcommunication and organisational skills.
• Aflexible, can-do attitude and commitment to the school community
