The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced Site Establishment Supervisor to support the mobilisation of a major water infrastructure project within the Northumbrian Water framework.
This is a key role responsible for ensuring construction sites are fully established and operational before the main delivery teams mobilise. Working closely with the client, project teams and supply chain partners, you will coordinate all aspects of site setup, ensuring projects are safe, compliant and ready for construction activities to commence.
Key Responsibilities Lead the mobilisation and establishment of new construction sites. Coordinate the installation of site compounds, welfare facilities and office accommodation. Arrange temporary services, including power, water and communications. Organise site security, fencing, gates and access control. Coordinate temporary access roads, hardstanding and car parking areas. Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and local stakeholders to ensure all mobilisation activities are delivered on programme. Ensure all site establishment works are completed safely and in line with project requirements. Work closely with Site Managers, Engineers and project delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition into the construction phase. Monitor progress, manage programme milestones and resolve issues that could impact mobilisation. Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance throughout the mobilisation process.About You
We're looking for someone with previous experience mobilising or establishing construction sites on large civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
You will have:
Previous experience in Site Establishment, Enabling Works or Site Mobilisation. A background within civil engineering, utilities, water or major infrastructure projects. Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple workstreams. Strong planning, organisational and communication skills. The ability to manage site setup activities safely, efficiently and to programme. A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.Essential Qualifications SMSTS (or equivilent) CSCS Card Full UK Driving LicenceDesirable First Aid at Work Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) NEBOSH or IOSH qualification Experience working on water infrastructure projects Knowledge of CDM RegulationsWhat's on Offer Long-term contract opportunity.
