Site Supervisor

• Location: Wigan
• Type: Full time (37 hours per week)
• Reporting to: Head of Estates
• Salary: £24,483

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Wigan.

Role Purpose

• Serve as the primary contact for site safety, security, and operational upkeep.
• Provide reliable minibus transport and logistical support across campuses.
• Oversee the maintenance and presentation of college premises and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to for site security: locking, unlocking, and ensuring premises are safe.
• Drive the college minibus (D1 licence required) to transport items and resources.
• Carry out general maintenance: repair, organise, and maintain site equipment.
• Support staff with porterage duties and ensure spaces are clean and welcoming.
• Adapt to varied working hours and participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota.

Requirements

• Full D1 driving licence and experience driving a minibus.
• Hands-on, proactive, and capable of completing practical tasks efficiently.
• Comfortable using basic IT tools for everyday site-related tech tasks.
• Flexible to work across Wigan and Leigh campuses as needed.
• Committed to maintaining a safe, functional, and positive environment.
