Site Supervisor - Nightshift - Civils / Highway

Contract Type: Temporary / Contract (Umbrella CIS accepted)

Rate: Circa £450 per night

Duration: 12 weeks, with possible extension.

Job Description:
TRIbuild Solutions is currently recruiting a Nightshift Site Supervisor to work on a major highways scheme at the M65 Junction 6. Working with the on-site Site Manager, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of works in accordance with permits, and for reporting progress on a section of the works. This is a 12-week contract with the possibility of extension. CIS is accepted, and payment is via umbrella.

Key Responsibilities:

* Working closely with the on-site Site Manager to deliver a section of the works

* Ensuring the safe delivery of works in accordance with permits

* Supervising and coordinating nightshift operations and site personnel

* Managing labour and plant resources during night works

* Carrying out briefings, including toolbox talks and task briefings

* Monitoring compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements

* Liaising with engineers and traffic management operatives

* Reporting progress on your section of the works and completing site records

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Foreman within highways or civils

* Experience working to permits on live highways schemes

* Valid CSCS card

* SMSTS or SSSTS

* Highways Passport

* Willingness and ability to work nights

Desirable Skills:

* Experience on motorway or major junction schemes

* Knowledge of Chapter 8 and night works requirements

* First aid qualification
