Start Date: 15th June 2026
Duration: Until 28th August 2026
Positions Available: 6
Hours: 45 Hours Per Week
Working Hours: 07:00 - 17:00
Rate: £28.50 per hour
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Payment: CIS

We are currently recruiting for 6 Skilled Operatives to support the delivery of a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project at Monk Fryston.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading energy infrastructure contractor working on a high-profile renewable energy development.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Civil works associated with BESS and electrical infrastructure construction
Installation of ducts and cable routes
Cable pulling and cable management activities
Assisting with trenching, reinstatement and general groundwork duties
Supporting site teams with construction and installation activities
General site duties as required by the project team
Maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental complianceEssential Requirements:

Valid CSCS or CPCS Card
Previous experience working within BESS, substation, electrical infrastructure or major civil engineering projects
Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures
Ability to work effectively within a construction team environmentDesirable Qualifications:

SHEA Power
First Aid at Work
SSSTS
National Grid Person
Previous utility, substation or energy sector experience
