CNC Setter. Sliding Head lathe machinery.

Hours: 6am - 4:30pm (10 hour days)

Day Shift - 4 day working week. £17.00 - £20.00 + Holidays + Company pension

I am pleased to be working in partnership with a highly respected, tier-one approved manufacturer and global supplier to blue-chip OEMs within the earth-moving machinery sector. The company has received numerous awards from its prestigious client base and holds platinum supplier status, reflecting its commitment to excellence and quality. As part of a significant growth phase, the business has recently invested £2 million in advanced machinery and is in the process of expanding its facilities to support continued innovation and capacity. In line with this growth, they are now seeking an experienced CNC Setter with proven expertise in Citizen Miyano or sliding head lathe machines to join their team. Experience required:

• Experience on Citizen or Star Sliding Head Lathe machinery is essential
• Twin turret experience is preferrable
• Fixed head machinery experience welcomed.
• Fanuc or Mitsubishi controls experience desirable.
• Apprentice trained preferred, but not essential.
• A strong background as a CNC Setter.
• Strong communication skills, and a team player attitude.
• Fantastic time keeping skills.
• Based within 30 minutes from Brownhills, Walsall to commute easily.

• Responsibilities:

• Setting up the CNC machines, selecting and loading the programs, setting work offsets, installing and adjusting tooling. Setting up work holding fixtures
• Operating the CNC machinery to manufacture components in line with product specifications.
• Programming experience is not essential, but if you are able and willing to programme this is beneficial.
• Troubleshoot machine errors and participate in machine maintenance when required.
