Skilled Labourer – Paint Stripping
Portsmouth PO1 £17.00 per hour Temporary 1 x week

Are you an experienced Skilled Labourer with practical site experience and the ability to carry out paint stripping using a new paste and plastic sheeting process? Workshop Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established company seeking a hardworking and reliable Skilled Labourer for a temporary assignment in Portsmouth. The main responsibility will involve paint stripping using a specialist process involving the application of paste and protective plastic sheeting. You will also be required to undertake other general labouring duties to support the site team, must live in the Portsmouth area.

Job Responsibilities

Carry out paint stripping using a paste application and plastic sheeting process.
Apply stripping paste in accordance with site instructions.
Cover treated surfaces with plastic sheeting as required.
Assist with general site set-up and preparation.
Manuel scrapping
Carry out site clearance and removal of materials.
Undertake other skilled general labouring duties as required.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Follow all site health and safety procedures.
Skills & Knowledge Required

Previous experience in skilled labouring is essential.
Confident carrying out paint stripping and manual preparation work.
Able to follow instructions and learn new working processes.
Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual labour.
Hardworking, reliable and punctual.
Willing to undertake other aspects of general labouring.
Good awareness of site health and safety.
Must be able to provide two satisfactory work references.
Must live in the Portsmouth area
Additional Information

Pay: £17.00 per hour.
Location: Portsmouth PO1.
Contract: Temporary.
Working Pattern: Full-time
