What the job involves
* Servicing, maintaining and repairing customer vehicles to franchise standards
* Tracking down faults with the manufacturer's own diagnostic equipment and software
* Completing electronic vehicle health checks and reporting any extra work honestly
* Working closely with the service advisors so customers get clear, accurate updates
* Road-testing and inspecting vehicles when needed
* Keeping workmanship and efficiency consistently high
* Guiding apprentices and less experienced colleagues where you can
* Keeping your technical knowledge current through manufacturer courses
What you'll need
* NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent
* A full UK driving licence
* Main dealer or manufacturer experience (desirable)
* Diagnostic experience (desirable)
* An MOT Tester licence (a bonus)
* Good communication and a team-first attitude
