Sliding Head Turner
Location: Eastleigh, Hampshire
Sliding Head Turner Pay: £15–£20 per hour (DoE)

Role Overview:
As a Sliding Head Turner, you will be responsible for setting and operating our Citizen and Star sliding head machines, utilising Fanuc controls. This is a high-batch manufacturing environment, so the focus is on efficient setting, tool changes, and program edits—no extensive programming required.

Sliding Head Turner Key Responsibilities:

Set and operate Citizen and Star sliding head CNC machines using Fanuc controls
Perform tool changes and make minor program edits as needed
Ensure machines run efficiently for high-volume production
Conduct in-process inspections to maintain quality standards
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area
Collaborate with the production team to meet daily targets

About You:

Experienced in setting and operating sliding head CNC lathes (Citizen/Star preferred)
Confident with Fanuc controls and making program edits
Skilled in tool changes and troubleshooting minor issues
Comfortable working in a high-batch, fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
