Slinger

We are currently recruiting an experienced Slinger / Signaller for an exciting construction project. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious operative to join a busy site with ongoing work available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

* Safely sling and signal loads during crane lifting operations.

* Communicate clearly with crane operators using approved hand signals and radio communication.

* Ensure all lifting activities are carried out in accordance with the lifting plan and site procedures.

* Inspect lifting accessories before use and report any defects.

* Maintain safe working practices and comply with all health and safety regulations.

* Assist with the safe movement and positioning of materials around site.

* Work closely with site management and other trades to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements

* Valid CPCS Blue Slinger/Signaller Card or NPORS with CSCS Logo.

* Previous experience working on construction or civil engineering projects.

* Good understanding of lifting operations and site safety procedures.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Full PPE.

* Ability to provide recent work references
