Slitter Operator

We are recruiting for a Slitter Operator to work a double-day shift pattern, joining a large Steel Processing company based in Dudley.

You will be training up to set and operate the slitting lines they have on site, as well as associated duties such as banding, stacking and loading / unloading steel onto the machine.

As a Slitter Operator you will -

• Setting and operating the wide slitting lines
• Operating overhead cranes
• Driving counterbalance FLTs
• Loading and unloading steel coils
• Banding up processed coils

For this role, you will need to be an experienced slitter operator, having worked a similar role in a steel processing environment

On offer for this Slitter Operator role -

• Mon-Fri 6am - 2pm / Mon-Thurs 2pm - 12am rotating weekly
• Hourly rate of £13.00 per hour (40 hours per week)
• Weekly pay through the agency
