The Role

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Computing Science Teacher to join our esteemed Science and Technology Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Computing Science education to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. This is a fantastic opportunity to ignite a passion for computing in our students within a supportive and forward-thinking school.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic and challenging lessons in Computing Science.


• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and achievement.


• Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.


• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices in teaching and learning.


• Participate in the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a degree in Computing Science or a related field.


• Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).


• Have a proven track record of successful teaching in a secondary school setting.


• Demonstrate a strong commitment to student success and well-being.


• Be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills.


• Show willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
