Small Works Estimator

We have a brand new opening for a Small Works Estimator to join our team on a full time, permanent basis. We are looking for someone with a strong trade background, preferably Carpentry or Plumbing bias. This role will be based at our High Wycombe office but will require travel across our commercial sites in High Wycombe, Aylesbury and Windsor. You will be required to liaise with our site teams and clients to price and quote the small project works across the sites.

You will be working within a small supportive team of trades that is growing due to company expansion!

Small Works Estimator - Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed site surveys and inspections for small works projects
• Accurately cost and quantify required works
• Identify and specify appropriate materials, considering quality, cost, and availability
• Estimate labour requirements and timeframes for project completion
• Prepare clear, accurate, and competitive cost estimates and quotations
• Liaise effectively with clients, site managers, suppliers, and subcontractors as needed to clarify requirements and costs
• Maintain organised records of surveys, estimates, and related documentation
• Identify potential risks or challenges during the survey process
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating processes

Small Works Estimator - What are we looking for?

• Background in plumbing or carpentry
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to pass Security Vetting
