Smart Metering Quality Assurance Auditor

We're looking for a Smart Metering Quality Assurance Auditor to join our Smart Metering Programme team and help ensure the highest standards of quality, compliance and workmanship across one of the largest smart meter rollouts in the UK.

As part of our ambitious programme to reduce water leakage, improve water efficiency and support our environmental commitments, you'll play a key role in auditing works carried out by both delivery partners and internal teams. • Monitor compliance with company standards, industry regulations and contractual requirements.

• Identify quality issues, non-conformances and areas for improvement, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.

• Assess contractor and internal team performance against agreed quality standards and KPIs.

• Support investigations into quality concerns and help mitigate programme risks.

• Produce clear audit reports, findings and recommendations for stakeholders and senior management.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits and corrective actions.

• Work closely with delivery partners and operational teams to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

• Provide guidance and support on quality assurance processes, standards and best practice.

• Collaborate with customers and other key stakeholders to ensure programme objectives are met.

• Identify opportunities to improve quality processes, efficiency and overall programme delivery.

• Support the Compliance Manager in driving quality performance across the Smart Metering Programme.

What We're Looking For

You'll be a detail-oriented and proactive professional who enjoys being out on-site, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring work is completed to the highest standard. You'll be confident building relationships with contractors and stakeholders, whilst not being afraid to challenge when standards aren't being met.
