SME Account Handler

£25,000 – £35,000 (flexible for the right person)

About the client
I’m working with a long-established insurance brokerage that’s growing, they’ve just acquired two new businesses earlier this year and now need two experienced SME Account Handlers to help take things forward.

This isn’t a “just keep the desk warm” kind of job you’ll be looking after a portfolio worth around £200k in income across commercial combined, motor fleet and broad commercial risks, with the chance to make your mark in a business that’s got big plans.

Growing business

The role

Manage renewals, mid-term adjustments and new business for your portfolio.
Build strong client and insurer relationships.
Use Acturis to process and maintain policy records.
Work closely with your team to deliver excellent service.

What you’ll need

Commercial insurance experience (SME preferred).
Acturis experience is a bonus.
Strong relationship skills and a client-first mindset.

The package

£25k–£35k DOE (flexible for the right person)
25 days holiday + bank holidays
Matched pension contributions
Company bonus + 2026 progression bonus scheme
Office-based
Monday–Friday, 9–5
