We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction of high-end residential properties, including bespoke new-build homes, luxury country houses and substantial residential refurbishments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager with a strong background in premium residential construction, a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional standards of workmanship and finish.

Working closely with the Project Manager, architects, subcontractors and specialist trades, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest possible standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of high-end residential construction sites.
Coordinate subcontractors, specialist trades and suppliers to ensure works are delivered in line with the construction programme.
Monitor progress against project schedules, identifying and resolving issues to minimise delays.
Maintain exceptional standards of workmanship, quality control and attention to detail.
Ensure all health and safety procedures, site regulations and relevant building requirements are adhered to.
Coordinate site logistics, deliveries, materials and plant to maintain an efficient working environment.
Work closely with architects, designers, consultants and the wider project team to resolve technical queries and construction challenges.
Inspect completed works, manage snagging and ensure defects are addressed promptly.
Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and relevant health and safety documentation.
Support the successful completion and handover of projects, ensuring all finishes meet the required specification.
Promote a professional, organised and collaborative site culture.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

Proven experience as a Site Manager within high-end residential construction.
Experience delivering luxury private homes, bespoke new builds or major residential refurbishments.
A strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing and high-quality finishes.
The ability to manage multiple subcontractors and specialist trades effectively.
Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, programme management and quality assurance.
A strong commitment to health and safety and maintaining high site standards.
The ability to work collaboratively with clients, consultants and project teams while maintaining a hands-on approach.
Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications are desirable or required, depending on project requirements.
