A leading consulting firm is hiring a Snowflake Developer to work on high-impact projects within the banking sector. You'll join a collaborative data team, delivering cloud-based solutions for a major financial services client.

Location: Manchester (3 days on-site)
Salary: Up to £70,000 + excellent benefits
Type: Permanent

• Build and maintain Snowflake-based data platforms.

• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

• Ensure best practices in data modelling, governance, and architecture are applied across projects.

• Strong knowledge of cloud computing and Snowflake architecture.

• Proficient in SQL (ANSI-SQL).

• Solid experience with data models: Dimensional, ER, and Data Vault.

• Strong working knowledge of Snowflake internals (roles, dynamic tables, streams, tasks, policies).

• Hands-on experience with Python, GitLab, and Snowpark container services.

• Exposure to data science, machine learning, data governance, and data management.

• Proven track record in data-centric project delivery.

• Confident stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Positive, proactive, team-oriented attitude.

• Experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle.

• Background in investment banking or financial services.

• Familiarity with Power BI and statistics.

• Ability to support multiple concurrent projects.
