Senior Programmatic Trading Director - Programmatic Media - Up to £180K OTE

The Company

Our client is a global programmatic media company delivering performance and brand-led solutions for top-tier advertisers. With a strong international presence and deep trading expertise, they help agencies and brands achieve smarter, faster, and more scalable outcomes through advanced data, tech, and service. Their UK team is a market leader, and they are now hiring a senior figure to lead and shape the future of their trading function.

The Job

• Lead and manage the UK programmatic trading division (25+ people) across multiple levels, channels, and client verticals

• Set trading strategy and drive operational excellence, innovation, and delivery across all programmatic campaigns

• Collaborate with commercial, product, client services, and operations teams to improve outcomes and performance

• Own senior relationships with DSPs, data providers, and technology partners

• Foster a high-performance culture and oversee hiring, development, and team growth

• Represent the business in high-level client conversations, pitches, and industry forums

• Act as a key member of the UK leadership team, driving forward business goals and trading excellence

You

• 7+ years of experience in programmatic trading, with significant team leadership exposure

• Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem across display, video, CTV, and omnichannel media

• Track record of scaling teams and driving revenue through trading innovation and operational rigour

• Strong commercial mindset and ability to align trading strategy with wider business goals

• Comfortable in senior stakeholder environments, with excellent communication and presentation skills

• Strategic thinker, but also hands-on and adaptable when needed
