Are you passionate about cybersecurity and ready to make a significant impact? We're looking for a talented SOC Support Analyst to join our client's dynamic team!

Our client is a leading Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP), dedicated to safeguarding organisations digital landscapes. As a SOC Support Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to enhance service delivery and assist in improving our clients' security posture.

Your primary responsibility will be to resolve incidents, screen and test security software for vulnerabilities, and prevent future threats for the clients you are assigned to. You will collaborate with professional service teams and other departments, ensuring the highest quality of service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Support aligned Senior and Support Analysts and customers.
Provide cover for aligned Senior and Support Analysts when unavailable.
Join daily meetings with customers to review previous actions and establish further required actions.
Ensure all reports and client-facing documents meet the highest quality standards.
Conduct in-depth analyses on alarms and events received by customers.
Recommend alternative actions or self-fix problems based on contract and incident type.
Proactively detect threats through threat hunting, modelling, and intel activities.
Work with security automation and orchestration tools as required.
Analyze events from endpoints and network sensors for anomalous behavior.
Continuously improve detection methods and alarm management processes.
Investigate phishing/spam incidents within the environment.
Provide first and second lines of investigations through analysis and recommended actions on various security technologies.

Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in IT, information security, or related field, or equivalent experience.
1-4 years of IT support, administration, or engineering experience.
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, and core protocols.
Familiarity with Windows & Linux operating systems.
Experience in log monitoring, SIEM, log management, and vulnerability management.
Awareness of common security vendors, products, and emerging technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft 365 Defender.

Desirable:
Understanding of attack vectors and methodologies.
Up-to-date knowledge of cyber threats and associated business risks.
Experience with Mail gateway phishing analysis.
Familiarity with PAM management.
Experience with endpoint technologies such as SentinelOne, Crowdstrike, Symantec, Splunk, Proofpoint.
Scripting and programming skills.
Knowledge of ITIL practices.
Completion of relevant training and certification path.
