Social Housing Painter

Location: Dundee Rate: 19/hr CIS Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join a team delivering planned maintenance and refurbishment works within occupied and void domestic properties. The role will primarily involve painting and decorating as part of kitchen and bathroom upgrades, lifecycle replacement programmes, and general property refurbishments across social housing and residential properties.

Key Responsibilities

Internal painting and decorating of domestic properties.
Preparation of surfaces including filling, sanding, and priming.
Painting walls, ceilings, woodwork, doors, and skirting boards.
Completion of decorating works following kitchen and bathroom replacement projects.
Carrying out planned maintenance, refurbishment, and lifecycle works.
Ensuring work areas are left clean, safe, and tidy.
Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Working within occupied properties while providing excellent customer service to tenants.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator within domestic or social housing environments.
Experience working on kitchen and bathroom upgrade programmes.
