The Role

We are looking for a Social Media & Content Marketing Manager to take our brand presence to the next level. You’ll be responsible for crafting compelling content, growing our online community, and ensuring that our messaging aligns with Orbital’s mission of using AI to transform materials science.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a content strategy that elevates Orbital’s presence in the AI and advanced materials space.
  

• Create engaging content, including blog posts, social media updates, newsletters, and case studies.
  

• Manage and grow our social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.), ensuring consistent brand voice and engagement.
  

• Work closely with our scientists and engineers to translate complex technical concepts into accessible, engaging narratives.
  

• Optimize content for SEO and track performance metrics to refine our marketing approach.
  

• Build and nurture an online community of researchers, engineers, and industry professionals.
  

• Collaborate with external partners, influencers, and media to expand Orbital’s reach.
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in content marketing, social media, or copywriting (experience in AI or deep tech industries is a plus).
  

• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with a strong understanding of brand voice and tone.
  

• Experience managing social media platforms and executing digital marketing strategies.
  

• Familiarity with SEO best practices and content performance tracking tools.
  

• Ability to distill complex technical topics into engaging, audience-friendly content.
  

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• A scientific degree preferably in chemistry, computer science or physics

• Experience in AI, materials science, or deep tech industries.

• A background in journalism, PR, or technical writing.

• Familiarity with video content creation and scriptwriting.
