About the Role

At Müller Yogurts & Desserts, we believe social content should do more than fill feeds. It should capture attention, spark conversation and help our brands earn their place in culture.

We’re looking for a Social Media Brand Content Manager to lead the planning, creation and delivery of social content across some of the UK’s most recognised brands.

Joining us as we grow our in-house social capability, you’ll bring our brands to life through engaging, platform-native content across social and emerging channels.

This is a role for someone who genuinely loves creating content. You’ll understand what makes people stop scrolling, know how to adapt ideas for different platforms and enjoy spotting opportunities to turn trends, cultural moments and brand activity into engaging social content.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the planning and management of always-on social content calendars across Müller brands.


• Turn strategic priorities into platform-specific content plans and publishing schedules.


• Develop compelling content concepts and copy that reflect brand objectives, personality and tone of voice.


• Create agile, reactive and low-fi content in-house to respond to real-time social and cultural opportunities.


• Adapt creative ideas for different audiences, channels and formats, ensuring content feels native to each platform.


• Manage content workflows and approvals, working with internal stakeholders and agency partners to maintain a consistent content pipeline.


• Champion best practice across social storytelling, content formats and emerging platform innovation.


• Work closely with the Social Media & Community Brand Manager to turn audience conversations, trends and social insights into content opportunities.


• Use content performance and audience engagement insights to continually test, learn and improve creative output.


• Bring a social-first content perspective to wider campaigns, activations, partnerships and brand plans.

What We’re Looking For

This could be a great opportunity for someone from an agency, social content, social creative or content marketing background looking for greater ownership and influence.

You’ll ideally have:

• Strong, demonstrable experience creating and managing social content for established brands, with the confidence to take ownership of content planning and delivery. Experience within FMCG, retail or an agency environment would be advantageous.


• A strong understanding of platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn, alongside an interest in emerging channels.


• Experience developing content calendars and managing content delivery across multiple stakeholders.


• Experience creating platform-native social content and adapting creative ideas across different channels and formats.


• Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to tailor messaging for different brands, audiences and platforms.


• Strong understanding of social content performance metrics and how insights can be used to improve future content.


• Experience using social scheduling, content management or creative production tools. Knowledge of Brandwatch would be an advantage.


• Strong organisation and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

You’ll be creative, curious and passionate about creating social content that people want to watch and engage with.

You’ll have an eye for detail, be willing to try new approaches and have a genuine interest in emerging trends, creators and platform innovation.

You’ll also be collaborative, positive and energised by working with both internal teams and external partners.
