Macildowie are working with a leading client based in Leicester to recruit a Social Media Specialist to support and grow their digital presence within a dynamic and collaborative marketing team.

This is a permanent opportunity, offering a fantastic platform for a creative and strategic professional looking to make a real impact within the B2B sector. The role offers a hybrid working model and reports directly to the Sales and Marketing Director.

The Role:

As Social Media Executive, you will be the driving force behind the company's social media strategy - from content creation to campaign delivery. You'll bring ideas to life with engaging video content and support brand visibility through innovative social storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic social media plans aligned with overall marketing goals

• Produce and manage high-quality, on-brand video content across platforms

• Schedule, publish, and manage day-to-day content using social tools

• Engage with followers and communities across all social channels

• Analyse performance data and deliver actionable insights in monthly reports

• Monitor trends, identify growth opportunities, and suggest fresh content ideas

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to amplify marketing campaigns

• Manage advertising budgets and explore influencer partnerships

The Candidate:

• Previous experience in a similar Social Media or Digital Marketing role

• Strong understanding of all major social platforms and emerging trends

• Excellent video creation and editing skills

• Confident using social analytics tools such as Google and LinkedIn

• Copywriting and storytelling flair

• Experience with Canva, Adobe Suite or similar design tools desirable

• Analytical and organised with a creative and strategic mindset
