Social Media Coordinator

Ellis Mason are working with an international business that have a small European Sales Office based in North Herts. The SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR is a trainee position that will receive expert training and advice from the current Social Media Specialist, who is re-locating to the USA.

The role would suit a school leaver (if you have some work experience then great, however candidates without any are still considered), who perhaps has studied social media or digital marketing and has some posts or designs that they can show the employer (maybe even a portfolio).

This is an incredibly exciting position in a trendy industry that definitely packs the wow factor!

The SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR will at times attend car shows and therefore the odd occasion of weekend working and travel is required.

• £21,000 - £23,000 dependant on level of experience
• Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 5pm
• 22 days holiday (some holiday to be used for Christmas shutdown but some often given) - plus the 8 bank holidays
• Pension - employer contribution 7% (employee 3%)
• Life Insurance - 4x (for death in service) - post probation
• Annual bonus (opportunity to earn 10% of salary, taking into consideration company performance, personal performance, training objectives)

The main duties included within the role of the SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR , are:

• Brainstorming content ideas for the company's social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc)
• Producing social media content
• Creating photo and video shoots, using an editing platform to create shortform content
• Scheduling your posts with the aim to post content every other day
• Writing engaging content and captions
• Using the DM's and comments to interact and engage with potential customers
• Monitoring social media trends and hot topics (globally)
• Researching the automotive industry for news and highlights
• Keeping up to date with our competitors and what they are doing
• Collaborating with influencers to create social media content and other potential working partnerships
• Attending car/trade shows
• Potential of travelling to the US Head Office one day
• Other ad hoc duties that may occur as part of the role

• MUST LOVE CARS!
• Digital marketing experience OR qualifications, with a focus on social media
• Fluent English, written and verbal (other languages are an advantage)
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Capcut & Microsoft Office programmes
• Graphic design knowledge would be exceptionally helpful
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a fun, hard-working & positive attitude
• High attention to detail, resilient and tenacious
