Social Media Manager

Our client, a pioneering organisation in the aerospace sector, is seeking a Social Media Manager for a contract opportunity. The role will focus on developing and delivering engaging social media activity that strengthens brand awareness, supports marketing objectives and communicates innovative aerospace developments to a range of audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with wider marketing objectives
Plan, create and publish engaging content across relevant social media platforms
Manage the social media content calendar and ensure consistent brand messaging
Communicate aerospace projects, technology, achievements and industry news in an accessible way
Monitor audience engagement, respond to enquiries and support community management
Track campaign performance and prepare reports with recommendations for improvement
Collaborate with internal teams to identify content opportunities and maintain accurate communications
Keep up to date with social media trends, platform developments and aerospace industry activity

Job Requirements:

Experience in social media management, digital marketing or marketing communications
Strong understanding of social media platforms, content planning and audience engagement
Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
Ability to translate technical or aerospace-related information into clear and engaging content
Understanding of social media analytics and performance reporting
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
Creative thinking and excellent attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with technical, commercial and marketing teams
