Job DescriptionA household name in the Food industry are in the early stages of developing a Digital Centre of Excellence and have thus opened a new role for a Social Media Manager to take the lead across all social content strategy and generation. Their brands have been in the grocery cupboards across the world for many years and this would be your opportunity to expand their reach to a wider audience.What they're looking for in You:Around 3 years of experience as a Social Media Manager with a keen interest in the Food Industry. Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends with a particular focus on TikTok. Highly creative thinker able to propose innovative ideas and concepts for social media content. Excellent communication and writing skills. Experience with content creation, including graphics and videos. Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools. Experience in photography, videography, and video editing. Demonstrated success in growing social media presence and engagement. Knowledge of SEO best practices. What You'll be up to:Develop and implement Social Media platforms’ (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn and YouTube) content strategy. Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels, adapting content to suit different channels. Collaborate with the design and content teams to produce visually appealing and on-brand graphics, videos, and written content. Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions. Implement a Content Calendar to make sure it’s aligned with the overall content strategy Work with the Community Marketing team to find influencers to partner with and collaborate on creating scripts for content created from our brand ambassadors. Oversee and contribute to write the copy for all social media posts, and online content such as email copy, journal posts, marketing copy and product descriptions, editing and proofreading. Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all social media platforms. Granular reporting to leverage learnings and change/react to data analysis. Create weekly and monthly reports and share digital customer insights and competitor activity to deliver to the wider team. The salary range for this role is between £37000 and £45000 with a performance bonus. This role offers hybrid working from a Central London office.Please note that no sponsorship is on offer for this role.
