Introduction
Socially Powerful is a global social media marketing agency offering bespoke, end-to-end services to our clients. Our rapidly growing team of creatives, strategists, designers, editors, and account managers work together to create impactful content for our list of global brands, covering a broad range of industries, from fashion to food to finance. Our agency is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Social Media manager and work to develop and implement exceptional social media strategies for our current and forthcoming clients.

About the Role
We are seeking a creative, out-of-the-box thinker to develop and execute the social media strategy for a leading alcohol brand. You will be working with the team to manage the client’s social channel, developing and implementing a strategy that aligns with the brand’s wider goals and embodies their tone of voice, with the ultimate goal of building their presence across all social media platforms and being at the forefront of what’s trending.
You will need to be social media OBSESSED, have a command of best practices and trends, enjoy being creative, and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience. This role would suit a high-energy individual with plenty of creative flair, complemented by good organizational skills, the ability to set priorities, and the ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-changing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Define and execute a strategy to grow and engage our social following on key platforms, based on a detailed knowledge of the client’s business, objectives, and upcoming focuses
Devise and execute organic social media campaigns, ensuring alignment with the wider marketing initiatives and monitoring the cost-effectiveness of the channel
Create, maintain, and execute a social media editorial calendar and posting schedule
Work with the wider Accounts team to oversee content production, utilizing content from a variety of sources, including in-house production, brand assets, creator content, and UGC
Set up necessary reporting across all social media activities, providing the client with a comprehensive overview of channel performance and learnings around channel optimization
Set up a social media listening framework, utilizing tools such as Sprout Social
Writing up creative concepts and presenting these to the client for review.
Researching current trends and trending topics across social media to inform new content ideas in line with brand tone of voice and creative direction
Working closely with team members and different departments to handle urgent requests and meet deadlines
Coordinating with team members to develop community management responses and interactions to help build brand love.
Leading creative brainstorming sessions, kick-offs, and team meetings and contributing ideas to the client’s social media strategy.

Required Skills & Experience
2+ years prior experience working as an SMM, with a particular focus across Instagram. Experience working within the alcohol industry is desirable.
Genuine passion for all things social, constantly staying up to date with the latest trends.
Experience in planning and optimizing paid & organic social media campaigns
Experience utilizing third-party paid social marketing technologies & social listening tools
Proven ability to grow a brand’s social media presence
Excellent in managing data sets and comfortable with analytics platforms
Attention to detail and a flair for creative writing
Team player who will actively contribute to discussions and put forward ideas.
Excellent organization and ability to work independently and to a high standard, in a fast-paced environment, while always maintaining an eye for detail.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and deal with problems logically and efficiently.
