Job Description - Social Media Marketing Specialist

Are you a passionate and experienced Social Media Specialist looking to make a real impact within a well-established and loved B2C brand? This leading lifestyle brand, is seeking a creative and results-driven individual to join their dynamic marketing team in Nottingham.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the brand's social media presence, foster a vibrant online community, and drive brand engagement to new heights. If you live and breathe social media, have a knack for crafting compelling brand narratives, and possess a strong understanding of the B2C landscape, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute innovative social media strategies across all key platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, Pinterest) in line with brand objectives and marketing campaigns.
Create engaging, high-quality, and original content (written, visual, video) that resonates with the target audience and drives interaction.
Manage the day-to-day running of social media channels, including content scheduling, community management, and responding to comments and messages in a timely and on-brand manner.
Monitor social media trends, identify new opportunities, and stay ahead of the curve with emerging platforms and best practices.
Track, analyse, and report on key social media metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Collaborate closely with the wider marketing team to ensure social media activity is integrated with the overall brand strategy and campaigns.
Uphold and champion the brand voice and visual identity across all social touchpoints.
Manage and grow online communities, fostering brand advocacy and loyalty.

About You:

Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist, Social Media Executive, or similar role
A strong portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns and content creation.
In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, their respective audiences, and best practices.
Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing social media strategies that drive engagement and brand growth.
Excellent copywriting and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
Creative flair with experience in creating visually appealing content
Strong analytical skills and experience with social media analytics tools.
A genuine passion for brand marketing and understanding consumer behaviour.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Crucially, you must live within a commutable distance of Nottingham and be able to work from the Nottingham office.
