Job Description - Social Worker

8 months contract with local authority

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team in the Social/NGO/Health & Care industry. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals and families in need. Your role will involve working closely with various agencies to ensure the safeguarding and well-being of vulnerable individuals.

Responsibilities:

Assessing the needs of individuals and families

Developing and implementing care plans

Providing counselling and support services

Collaborating with multi-agency teams to coordinate care and support

Advocating for clients and their families

Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions

Requirements

Proven experience in working with families and individuals in need

Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and legislation

Ability to work effectively with multi-agency teams

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Empathy and understanding towards individuals facing challenges

Relevant qualifications in social work or a related field
