Social Worker - Adults Social Care

• Annual Salary: £39,709 - £47,509 plus £1,000 Golden Hello and £1,500 Annual Retention Allowance

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Social Worker to join our Adult Services team at the Orpington & The Crays Locality Team. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive social care across a broad spectrum of adult needs, significantly impacting our community's well-being.

• Conduct case management and safeguarding enquiries in accordance with statutory responsibilities.
• Perform independent assessments and support planning, grounded in a thorough understanding of adult social care legislation and best practices.
• Engage in risk assessment and make informed decisions in dynamic situations.
• Develop creative, person-centred interventions that empower individuals.
• Maintain effective relationships with partner agencies, including health services and voluntary sectors.
• Utilise IT systems for accurate and timely information recording on social care platforms.
• Analyse, write, and solve problems effectively, prioritising tasks to meet performance targets.

• Degree in Social Work/CQSW/CSS/DipSW/OT/RGN/RMN with community experience.
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Proven experience in case management and conducting safeguarding enquiries.
• Strong skills in assessment, support planning, and understanding of adult social care legislation.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using IT systems relevant to social care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
