Salary: £42,324 - £46,512 per annum + £5,000 Recruitment & Retention Bonus
Contract: Permanent | Full-time - 37 hours per week
Location: Family Help / Community Team, Redbridge

Redbridge Council is looking for a qualified Social Worker to join the Family Help Service within the Community Team. You will provide early intervention and support to vulnerable families and children, working to reduce risk and improve wellbeing.

You will deliver direct support, contribute to assessments, and work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children.

• Undertake assessments and deliver early intervention support to children and families.

• Provide parenting support and direct work with families in their homes and community settings.

• Assist in developing and reviewing family support plans.

• Work closely with schools, health, social care, and other partners.

• Maintain accurate case records and participate in team meetings and supervision.

• HCPC-registered Social Worker qualification.

• Experience working with families in early help or community settings.

• Knowledge of safeguarding, child development, and early intervention frameworks.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Supportive team within an Ofsted Outstanding service.
