Social Worker - Learning Disabilities

Liquid Personnel is seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is confident in completing Community DoLS work and preparing associated court documentation. This role supports a project aimed at addressing a backlog of individuals requiring Community DoLS assessments, for it's client based in Southampton.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal frameworks and be able to manage complex cases efficiently and independently.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will,

• Conduct person-centred assessments of needs, risks, and strengths.


• Develop and review care and support plans tailored to individual goals and aspirations.


• Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns.


• Advocate for the rights and choices of individuals, ensuring their voices are central in decision-making.


• Support individuals to build life skills and increase independence.


• Facilitate access to education, employment, housing, and community resources.


• Work closely with families, carers, health professionals, and other agencies to coordinate care.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have, 

• Social Work England registration


• Eligible to work in the UK


• Hold a full UK driving licence


• Post-qualified experience


• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
