Social Worker - Multi-Agency Child Health

Our client is actively seeking a qualified and experienced Children's Social Worker to join their Multi-Agency Child Health (MACH) Team. This critical front-line safeguarding role operates as the multi-agency front door for children's services, working closely with partners to ensure children and families receive the right support at the right time.

As a Social Worker within the MACH Team, you will be responsible for the triage and screening of referrals, assessing risk, and making timely decisions to safeguard children. The role offers a unique opportunity to work in a co-located environment alongside Police, Health, and Education professionals, promoting effective information sharing and collaborative decision-making.

What You Will Be Doing

• Screening and triaging contacts and referrals relating to children and families


• Assessing levels of risk and determining appropriate safeguarding responses


• Working collaboratively with partner agencies to share information and support decision-making


• Progressing referrals promptly and ensuring appropriate allocation


• Maintaining accurate case records, assessments, and reports


• Identifying needs and ensuring timely interventions are put in place to safeguard children

We require you to have:

• Social Work England registration.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Post-qualified experience within Children's Social Care.
  • Experience of safeguarding and assessment work.
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work.
