We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and committed Sociology Teacher to join the successful Social Sciences faculty at a high-achieving secondary school in Dorking, Surrey.

This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position starting in January 2026 (or sooner).

We Are Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).


• A proven track record as an excellent Sociology Teacher, with essential experience teaching the subject to Key Stage 5 (A-Level).


• Strong subject knowledge across core sociological concepts, theory, and research methods.


• A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire high levels of engagement and critical thinking.

Salary and Benefits

• Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for England (Excluding London) (currently £32,916 - £51,048 for 2025/2026).
