About the Role

A prestigious Independent school in Camden requires a dedicated Sociology Teacher, starting ASAP for a temporary period. You will deliver engaging sociology lessons to Key Stages 4 and 5.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Sociology Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum.


• Prepare students for examinations and assessments.


• Develop students' understanding of social structures and issues.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.


• Contribute to the development of the sociology curriculum and resources.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Sociology.


• Proven experience in teaching sociology at secondary level, including A-Level.


• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for sociology.


• Excellent communication and analytical skills.


• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
