About the Role

An Outstanding girls school in Camden seeks a knowledgeable Sociology Teacher to join their social sciences department.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Sociology Teacher lessons at KS4 and KS5.


• Prepare students for examinations and assessments.


• Develop students' understanding of social structures and issues.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.


• Contribute to the development of the sociology curriculum and resources.


• Organise and lead sociology-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Sociology.


• Proven experience in teaching sociology at secondary level, including A-Level.


• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for sociology.


• Excellent communication and analytical skills.


• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
