A forward-thinking Boys' School in Hammersmith & Fulham is seeking a dedicated Sociology Teacher to join our Humanities department. We are looking for an educator who can inspire students to critically examine society.

About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Sociology lessons to Key Stages 4 and 5, including GCSE and A-Level.


• Develop and implement lesson plans covering sociological theories, research methods, and contemporary social issues.


• Facilitate student-led discussions and research projects.


• Assess student progress through written assignments, presentations, and examinations.


• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the sociology curriculum.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Sociology or a related field.


• Extensive experience teaching sociology at the secondary level, preferably in a boys' school setting.


• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.


• A passion for fostering sociological understanding and critical thinking.
