What You'll Do:

• Design and deliver engaging and informative Sociology lessons across all year groups, adhering to relevant curricula (e.g., GCSE, A-Level).


• Cultivate a thought-provoking and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical analysis, informed debate, and a deeper understanding of social structures and issues.


• Guide students in developing a comprehensive knowledge of sociological theories, research methods, and contemporary social challenges.


• Prepare students for success in external examinations (as applicable).


• Contribute to the development of the Sociology curriculum, incorporating innovative teaching methods and real-world examples.


• Play a key role in fostering a love for learning and encouraging active participation in class discussions and projects.


• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Social Sciences department and contribute to school-wide events.

• Possesses a valid QTS in Sociology or a relevant social science discipline.
